About this Camp

Sea Scouts from ages 11 to 18 are invited to this big water camp. The activities are mostly water themed such as sailing competitions, rowing, and sea survival. When you are 18+ you can join as international IST. More info: Join the largest Sea scout camp as IST! | Nawaka 2026 From Monday 3th of August up and until Wednesday 12th August 2026 Sea Scouts are invited to join us for Nawaka 2026. Groups from The Netherlands and other countries will gather at Scouting Landgoed Zeewolde in The Netherlands. Nawaka is full of big, exciting and cheerful activities near, on and in the water. A time to never forget and you can be part of it as IST! Your job As International Service Team (IST) you are part of a group of volunteers and staff members who work together to support and facilitate the smooth functioning of Nawaka 2026. Your responsibilities may include logistical support, helping with program activities, managing camp facilities, and ensuring the overall well-being and safety of participants. IST members contribute their time and skills to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved in Nawaka. Together with our IST coördinator we will look for a job that suits you best. Job criteria To join as IST you need to: • Be born before 08/03/2008 • Be part of a National Scout Organization • Be able to communicate in English • Provide a Letter of Good Conduct by your Scout Organisation or government Your reward During Nawaka 2026, you will work as a IST alongside Dutch volunteers to ensure that all participants have a wonderful time. You will gain new experiences, learn all kinds of new things and meet Scouts from all over the Netherlands and a few other countries. It is a unique opportunity to put your talents to good use and develop your own skills. If you join Nawaka 2026 the basic facilities and needs are included in your IST fee of €232,50. You need to provide your own camping gear. The travel costs like transport to and from the event, stay before and after the event and Visa are also not included.
